In 1995, Joseph Na began his architectural career at PFVS, a Hospitality and exclusive estate specialized firm in Georgia. As an intern architect, Joseph began with very basic drafting in the beginning, and progressed to produce everything from schematic plans to full construction documents within 5 years. While developing his expertise in all aspects of Architectural design, Joseph worked with Clarence Vinson on conceptual designs and demonstrated his remarkable creativity for the next 14 years. He produced hundreds of concept designs and many of them have been built to fruition.

In 2014, Joseph had the opportunity to work on industrial facility projects when he joined Hanterin US. He learned and gained vast experience while working on industrial projects for 8 years until the Summer of 2022. As an Architect of Record for each project, Joseph reviewed architectural drawings, held preliminary meetings with AHJ, analyzed governing building codes, provided life safety drawings, and architectural specifications. Also, he attended OAC meetings during construction and he oversaw Contract Administration services such as receiving, delivering, and responding to all RFIs and Submittals. By repeating these procedures, the ability to solve problems has been greatly improved, discrepancies between design and construction have decreased, and the role of mediation between the client and the contractor has been thoroughly developed.

Based on the experience that PFVS has been modeling projects using Revit for decades, all future industrial facility projects will be designed by modeling the buildings using BIM.  BIM (Building Information Modeling) is useful to prevent conflicts between building systems in advance and is very useful for managing building facilities after building completion.
